When I saw your face again, it all came back to me. I struggle to keep this mask on, believing you could never feel the way I do. Instead I play the part, of someone I hate to be. Someone untrue.
I stare at you, while the memories flash in my mind like a slide show behind the lids. I keep my mouth shut, knowing this could all fail, and I'd be left with nothing, rather than something.
